What should be paid attention to in the installation and adjustment of automatic sandblasting machine?
The installation and adjustment of automatic sandblasting machine is a key link to ensure the normal operation and safe production of equipment, and the following matters need to be paid attention to:
First, the installation environment
Space requirements
Make sure that the installation site has enough space to accommodate all related equipment such as sandblasting machine host, sandblasting room (if any), dust removal equipment and workpiece conveying device. For example, at least 1-1.5 meters of operation and maintenance space should be reserved around the equipment to avoid inconvenient operation or normal maintenance due to narrow space.
For large-scale automatic sandblasting machine, it is also necessary to consider the access channel of the workpiece, and the height and width of the channel should meet the smooth passage of the largest workpiece.
Ground bearing capacity
The sandblasting machine itself is heavy, plus the weight of the workpiece and sand during sandblasting, it is necessary to ensure that the ground of the installation site has sufficient bearing capacity. If the bearing capacity of the ground is insufficient, it may cause the equipment to sink or tilt after installation. For example, for some heavy sandblasting machines, the bearing capacity of the ground should reach at least 3-5 tons per square meter.
environmental conditions
Avoid installation in humid, dusty or corrosive gas environment. Wet environment may lead to short circuit of electrical equipment and rust of metal parts; The dusty environment will affect the sand blasting effect and the service life of the equipment; Corrosive gases may corrode the metal structure of the equipment. If these unfavorable environmental factors cannot be avoided, corresponding protective measures need to be taken, such as installing dehumidifiers, air filters and ventilation equipment.
Second, the equipment installation
Host installation
The main machine of sandblasting machine should be installed on a horizontal basis and can be calibrated with a level meter. Horizontal installation can ensure the normal transportation of sand and the uniform sandblasting of sandblasting gun. For example, for the crawler automatic sandblasting machine, the installation plane error of the crawler should not exceed ±2mm, otherwise, the workpiece may be deviated or stuck in the conveying process.
In the process of installing the main engine, we should pay attention to the tightness of the connecting parts. All bolts and nuts should be tightened according to the torque requirements provided by the equipment manufacturer to ensure that the equipment will not be loose during operation.
Installation of sandblasting room (if any)
The walls and ceiling of the sandblasting room should be well sealed to prevent sand and dust from leaking during sandblasting. For example, the doors, windows and joints of sandblasting room can be sealed with sealing strips.
The lighting system of the sandblasting room should be installed in a suitable position, so as to ensure sufficient light intensity so that the operator can clearly observe the sandblasting process and avoid the lighting lamps from being damaged by sand. Generally speaking, lamps and lanterns should be installed at the top of sandblasting room with protective lampshade.
Installation of dust removal equipment
The location of dust removal equipment should be determined according to the layout and wind direction of sandblasting room, and the length of dust suction pipeline should be shortened as much as possible to reduce resistance. For example, it is best to install dust removal equipment on one side of the sandblasting room and close to the dust source, and the number of elbows in the dust suction pipeline should be reduced as much as possible.
Attention should be paid to the connection between the dust removal equipment and the main machine of the sandblasting machine to ensure the tightness of the dust suction pipeline. If there is a leak in the dust suction pipeline, dust can not be collected effectively, which will affect the working environment and equipment performance.
Third, the equipment adjustment
Sandblasting parameter adjustment
Sandblasting pressure: Adjust the sandblasting pressure reasonably according to different workpiece materials and sandblasting requirements. For example, for metal workpieces with higher hardness, such as stainless steel or alloy steel, higher sandblasting pressure can be used, generally between 0.4 and 0.6 MPa; For soft materials, such as aluminum alloy or plastic, the sandblasting pressure should be reduced appropriately, usually between 0.2 and 0.4 MPa, so as not to damage the surface of the workpiece.
Sand blasting flow: control the sand blasting flow by adjusting the sand valve or sand conveying device of the sand blasting gun. Proper sand blasting flow can ensure the uniformity of sand blasting effect. For example, in fine sand blasting, the sand blasting flow can be controlled in a small range, such as 10-20 kg per minute; In rough sand blasting, the flow rate can be appropriately increased to 30-50 kg per minute.
Adjustment of conveying system
Workpiece conveying speed: adjust the workpiece conveying speed according to the size and shape of the workpiece and the requirements of sandblasting process. For example, for large and complex workpieces, the conveying speed should be slowed down appropriately so that the sandblasting gun has enough time to sandblast all parts of the workpiece; For small and simple workpieces, the conveying speed can be appropriately accelerated to improve production efficiency. Generally speaking, the workpiece conveying speed can be adjusted between 0.5 and 3 meters per minute.
Conveying angle (if applicable): For some special workpieces, it may be necessary to adjust the conveying angle to ensure that all surfaces of the workpieces can be evenly sandblasted. For example, for workpieces with inclined surfaces or holes, the angle of the conveying device can be adjusted to make the workpieces in the best sandblasting position during the conveying process.
Fourth, security measures
Installation of protective device
Install protective devices such as protective doors and safety light curtains. The protective door should have a reliable locking mechanism and can only be opened after the equipment stops running and the pressure is completely released. Safety light curtain can be installed at the entrance of sandblasting room. When the operator's body or other objects block the light curtain, the equipment should stop running immediately to prevent accidental injury.
Install a protective device near the sandblasting gun to prevent the sand material from rebounding and hurting people during sandblasting. For example, a transparent protective baffle can be used, which will not affect the operator's observation of the sand blasting process, but also effectively block the sand.
Electrical grounding and explosion protection (if applicable)
Ensure that the equipment is well grounded, and the grounding resistance should not exceed 4Ω. Good grounding can prevent electric shock accidents when electrical equipment leaks.
If the sandblasting machine is used in flammable and explosive environment, such as in places with flammable gas or dust, explosion-proof measures should be taken, such as using explosion-proof motors, explosion-proof electrical switches and explosion-proof lighting lamps.
