Pay attention to the following items when using the liquid sandblasting machine:
First, the preparation before operation
equipment inspection
Check whether all parts of the liquid sandblasting machine are in good condition, such as spray gun, nozzle, sand pump and pipeline. Ensure that the connection is firm and there is no leakage.
Check whether the electrical system is normal and the grounding is good. Ensure that the control system and motor of the equipment run stably.
Check whether the storage containers for abrasives and liquids are clean and free of impurities. Ensure that the particle size and type of abrasive meet the processing requirements.
Safety protection
Operators should wear suitable protective articles, such as protective glasses, masks, gloves, work clothes, etc. Prevent abrasive and liquid from splashing on the body and causing injury.
Set a fence or warning sign in the operation area to prevent irrelevant personnel from entering. Ensure a safe operating environment.
Workpiece preparation
Clean the copper parts to be processed to remove impurities such as oil stain and dust on the surface. Ensure that the surface of the workpiece is clean, so that the abrasive can better act on the surface of the workpiece.
According to the shape and size of the workpiece, choose the appropriate fixture or support device to ensure the workpiece is stable during sandblasting.
Second, the matters needing attention in the process of operation
Ratio of abrasive to liquid
Adjust the ratio of abrasive to liquid correctly according to the requirements of the equipment manual. Improper proportion may affect the sandblasting effect and the normal operation of the equipment.
Regularly check the mixing of abrasive and liquid to ensure uniform mixing. If uneven mixing is found, the equipment parameters should be adjusted or stirred in time.
Sandblasting pressure and flow rate
According to the material, shape and processing requirements of the workpiece, the sandblasting pressure and flow rate are reasonably adjusted. Excessive pressure and flow may cause excessive damage to the workpiece, while too low will affect the sandblasting effect.
When adjusting the pressure and flow rate, it should be done step by step to avoid sudden increase or decrease. At the same time, pay attention to the sand blasting effect and the running state of the equipment, and adjust it in time if there is any abnormality.
Use of spray gun
Hold the spray gun correctly and keep a stable spray angle and distance. Generally speaking, the included angle between the spray gun and the workpiece surface should be 30-60, and the distance should be 100-300mm.
Avoid spraying the spray gun at the same position for a long time, so as to avoid local excessive wear or damage. The spray gun should be moved evenly to ensure the uniform sandblasting effect on the surface of the workpiece.
In the process of use, if the spray gun is found to be blocked or faulty, stop sandblasting immediately, turn off the equipment and carry out cleaning or maintenance.
Running state of equipment
Pay close attention to the running state of the equipment, such as the sound, temperature and vibration of the motor. If there is any abnormality, the equipment should be stopped immediately for inspection and maintenance.
Regularly check all parts of the equipment, such as sand pumps, pipelines, valves, etc., to ensure their normal operation. If it is worn or damaged, it should be replaced in time.
III. Cleaning and maintenance after operation
Cleaning of workpiece
After sandblasting, take the workpiece out of the equipment and clean it. Remove the residual abrasive and liquid on the surface, which can be dried by compressed air or washed with clear water.
Check the workpiece to ensure that the sandblasting effect meets the requirements. If necessary, it can be further treated or processed.
Cleaning of equipment
Turn off the equipment and discharge the abrasive and liquid from the storage container. Clean storage containers, pipelines, spray guns and other parts to remove residual abrasives and impurities.
Rinse all parts of the equipment with clean water to ensure that it is clean and free of scale. Then blow dry with compressed air to prevent rust and corrosion.
Maintenance of equipment
Maintain the equipment regularly, such as replacing worn parts, adding lubricating oil and checking the electrical system. Ensure that the equipment is always in good working condition.
Regularly calibrate and debug the equipment to ensure the accuracy of parameters such as sandblasting pressure, flow rate and the ratio of abrasive to liquid.
Store the equipment in a dry and well-ventilated place to avoid direct sunlight and humid environment. At the same time, cover the equipment to prevent dust and debris from entering.
